Fan Art vs Original Art

I dug up some old fan art I made. It was a comic about Mario from Super Mario Bros. and a picture I did for a college project involving a Flintstones version of Theodore Roosevelt strangling Dino the dinosaur. I want to post them but I'm wondering what to put them in since it's fan art in that it uses characters I didn't create but it's original art in that it involves a scenario I did create.
Fuck it, it's going in fan art.
Also, had an idea of drawing up an image of a cartoon me surrounded by my Pokemon Wifi team from Gen VI. I had my Gen V team posted up in an image last year, with one exception, and it was a fun project so I'm intereste

And we're back.
Maybe.
But definitely considering it. I came up with an idea for a novel set in a steampunk fantasy world of my own creation. I'll post artwork here for those interested but I'm paranoid about people stealing it and trying to make money off of it, since that's what I plan on doing with it. So once I figure out a way to ward that off I'll post stuff.

I wanna work, I really really do. I wanna draw and sketch and do some writing.
But I am fuckin' useless on an empty stomach and I'm broke 'til Friday :-/
At some point I'm going to migrate all my stories from Fanfiction.net onto here. Assuming they'll fit. All the chapters have an >3k word count.
